I bought this chair at a yard sale in Pittsfield MA in the early 2000s. My all-time favorite. One of those chairs that you cannot believe is THAT comfortable. The seat is one thick chunk of maple. Cushman. The damn thing broke right while I was enjoying a good sit in my storage unit. Form seceded function and I ended up on my ass.
